My Goldfish and loaches

Here are photos of my 45gal 48x12x18 tank, with a fluval 4 internal, about 4 live plants and some cunningly (and not so cunningly) disguised plastics.

I thought this thread would be ignored because everyone would be snobby about goldfish, but they are impressive photos I reckon. I didn't take them mind, I got a cichlid tank owning friend too

Really nice, crisp photography. I wasn't previously aware that goldfish could be so vibrant. They seem to be almost kaleidoscopic in nature.

I'll get some more photos taken soon. I've since added 3 rotala macandra plants, 4 vallis, 2 shorter twisted vallis, and a fountain plant. There are also 3 Gastromyzon beaufortia in there as well now. If you look closely in those pics those, you'll see the little skiddy blurs that are the weather loach, usually playing in the bubbles.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm thinking of getting one or 2 of the photos done as wall prints for while I'm away from the tank and the missus is looking after it.


Yeah, goldfish get a bit of a cold shoulder on these forums, I'm glad my photos put them in a different light!
