My glo fish tetra has a huge stomach

So we have had 4 tetras in a community tank for about 2 almost 3 years, and the purple one had what looked the a bite in her tail, it seems like there is now scar tissue this was about 6 months ago and now we noticed over the last 3 weeks she now has a huge stomach. She is acting fine and eating and swimming and staying with the other fish, what could be wrong?

Is the fish eating normally?
What does its poop look like?

It could be eggs or a tumour. Either way you don't worry about it because there's no cure for a tumour and if she wants to breed, then the males have to display to her.

Hello. Most, if not all tank problems are water related. This is simply because there is more water in this system than anything else. Cleaning up the tank water will help. If you're not removing and replacing at least half the water in the tank every few days, your fish aren't going to be their healthiest. Gradually, increase your water changes. Tanks up to 30 gallons should get a 50 percent water change twice a week. Tanks 30 gallons and larger need half the water changed once a week. Also, I add a little plain psyllium to my fishes' food. If your fish has problems with passing waste, and many fish do, this will help.
