Yes i kept it in a small tank in post #1. But betta don't need big space and it's okay for them there.

is it? were did you get that info? i would up grad to a 10 gallon.

The absolute minimum for a betta is 2.5 gallons, but I would never kep one is less than 5 gallons. With these bettas being giant bettas, they need bigger than standard bettas so at least 10 gallons. They also need decor in the tank, substrate on the bottom, a filter and a heater.

This tank is most likely way too small. Bettas don't need necessarily massive tanks, but as Essjay has already said, and hence the name, these bettas get bigger than the average one so a 10 gallon tank would be a good minimum for this one.

And, of course, since I'm assuming this is its tank for your home they will need substrate (sand is good), decoration such as rocks or hide-outs, a filter, heater and maybe some plants.
