hi all, i was in a good lfs a few weeks ago, buying lots of fish (as you do), and asked the owner to keep an eye out for a really good mustard gas CT for me, as i wanted to get back into bettas.

anyhoo, buying away merrily, when this little fella caught my eye. he definitely wouldn't win any shows (!!!) but i think he's cute, and he's a really peaceful community guy, which is a lovely bonus, as i can still keep my 5gall for the mustard gas when he comes along.

like i say, he's not the best formed (!!!!), but he's won me over.

btw, i really like that gorgeous creamy white betta in your sig - i had a look at a white HM while i was in the lfs, but.....$60 i could spend on 10 other fish, so......

Thank you, he was actually a freebe because of late posting which i thought was a bargin i have his dad too .

Good luck with finding your MG by the way they are my fave too so make sure you post pics when you get one

there's a betta show on this weekend that i will have to try to get to before work (start work at midday, and show is an hours drive away, so not too sure how i'll work it, but... .) hopefully i can get a nice MG CT and a white HM there. Will posts pics immediately if i do, of course!

apparently overseas entries will be sold after the show, so i might try to get a few nice ones held for me, and grab a three tank barracks while i am there for temp housing until i get a few more small tanks through the week.

Honestly, i feel like the only reason i work is to buy more fish and upgrade the tanks of the ones i have....
