Here are my clowns who think they're fronts  I wish I'd of thought of cleaning the glass before I took pics  :X A rare sighting of my female fryeri, she's hardly ever allowed to come out without the male chasing her back behind the filter.

all the fronts in one shot, which really isn't a challenge because they hang out in a group like that all the time

Lovely fronts Wuv!! And I'm glad you've reverted to Wuv again, it just wasn't the same!! :D

Are they burundi or kavalla?? Hang on, one of them looks like it almost has seven stripes, or are my eyes deceiving me in the early hours?!!

Just got 9 ikola fronts myself, they are great aren't they!!

jump

Yes, I have a mix and match of four of each :) You got some ikola!?!? Oh you just HAVE to post pics!!!! I dream of a tank full of zaire blues in my future

Wow! They are awesome, I can't say it enough that I am so happy you have a camera! :D I love the fronts and the loaches, so pretty :p

Will get some pics up asap....they seem to have settled in a bit more now (bit shy for the first week!!) so I will give it a go. Not too blue at the moment, but I believe their faces especially will get much bluer as they grow :)

They sure are good eaters aren't they?!!

:grr:
I'll say! Mine are a bit picky when it comes to their staple diet of pellets :grr: I can only get them to take "Tetra sinking color bits" which are so small & expensive but they sink slow which the fronts like since they will not eat from the surface (un-natural to them) And frozen food....jinkies! They eat half a Hikari flatpack in one meal  Their fave is formula 2 and ghost shrimp

Can't wait to see your new babies, are you ready for a 20+ year commitment? :hyper: I know I am!! :hyper:

I sure am! I can't wait to watch the group grow up together, then of course the challenge is to weed out some of the males and buy a lovely big Alpha for the ladies in a couple of years!! I also hope to get some more clowns to go with them, as i only have three with them at the mo, along with four synodontis euruptus.

Mine seem to eat anything I put in at the moment, but they are only 2-3inches or so. They will enjoy a nice meal tonight, I haven't been home since Friday morning, they will be starving I'm sure!!

Thats what I'd like to do with my 135g when it gets set up. Dropping a $1000+ investment on some fronts is probably not in the near future though :/

Yours are real beauts though. How big are they at this point?

Glad ya like Ms.Silver ;)

Thanks Jeremy. My 3 largest are around 4-5 inch and the 7 bars are around 3-4", I got them (7 bar) several months ago and they were barely an inch, just teeny tiny bite size, they had to grow quick and lay low to hang with the big boys but they did it :flex:

You dang right they brought me out of my hole! LOL

I live vicariously through you regarding fronts. hehehe :hey:

Does FM still have his or did he really trade em for some clowns?
