Fred must think hes died and gone to heaven as soon as he settles in its gonna be like a all you can eat sushi bar,i dont want to sound rude mate but there isnt a fish there that a shovelnose wont eat except mabey the other cats and even they could be under threat.A 8" shovelnose can eat fish up to 3" easily and once he is full grown anything under 5" is lunch,id seriously consider changing his tankmates,Balas and some of the larger peaceful cichlids make good tankmates as well as other peaceful but large (over 4-5 inches) catfish.
