hi guys .Well for those that have been helping me will be pleased to hear that i tested my amonia lasight and it was showing 0.5 in the tank water so i added what i felt was the same amount for my 90 ltr tank which was 3 ml .....its bottle said add (2.5ml per 75 ltr ) which is what i first did and it when upto 4 ppm on my first test for amonia....so when i saw finaly it had gone down to 0.5 last night i put 2.5 ml of amonia back into the water thinking this would prob rais amonia back upto 4 - 5 ppm again...iput this amount in last night about 8pm and retested today at 12 pm 16 hrs latter and it is down to 0.25 so i dnt no what it actualy reached after i added last night , or if it had droped right of by today...so i have added again the orig amount today at 12pm ( 3ml)
...so what im wondering is how long do i leave the 3ml to circulate and retest for amonia again....to see what level the 3ml has raised the tank level upto so i can make sure im putting enough amonia in and that its raising to about 4ppm so i can time 12 hrs to see how much is being absorbed by the baktiria....sory if this sounds a bit messy...thanks Greg ....by the way my filter pump internel is capable of 600 ltrs per hr

20 to 30 minutes should be sufficient time.

thanks for that buddy id just left it for 1.5 hrs because i didnt know till now and its on 3ppm and thats with all the recent amonia so shall i test again tonght at 12 and add more regardles to its levels because if its fallen to about 1 ppm and i do not add anymore as im waiting for it to drop to 0 ,,,it would have droped right off by 9am when i get up in ther morning,or if by 12am tonight its about 1ppm or slightley less,would it be ok if i didnt feed more amonia till 9am...thanks for your recponce
