*My Fish*

How could someone do that to fish and use them as an 'experiment' to prove everyone "wrong"? You aren't going to prove anything except that your cruel and don't know much about fish. You can cram them in there all you like, but all you're doing is stunting their growth and making them unhealthy and unhappy. If you feel good about yourself with what you're doing, you're obviously a sick person.

I'd like to know what your water params are and what filters you have on that tank. I'm sure they will die of nitrite/nitrate poisoning before they can even live a year. :grr:

I'm quite the newbie myself...i know my tank is a bit overstocked, but dude thats just overkill! Like someone else said...those fish will probably be lucky if they even live past a year in that tank...they's probably be better off at your LFS.

yeah. Maybe in a big tank without the small fish the bigger fish might work but The Gar, Frontosa, And oscar at leas twill all be too big

lol if the oscars get to the point where they need a bigger tank then i will get one for them , and omg Raechal how can u even post something like that , what about the feeders that get fed to fish , lmao , its not that at all, i am not doing it just to kill them , how ridiculous , i want to see if it works , plain and simple it is right now and has been for a while!!!. it is soo funny to me that u think i would just leave them all in there when the oscars get bigger , when my frontosa get bigger and all the rest of my fish. If there becomes a need to move them because they start eating each other or start dying ,or because of their size then i will move then into another tank . That has been my point all along that it is working right now , lol and everyone gets soo nasty :S

I have no problem with feeder and I never have, it is part of the wild and I respect that, but when you oscar tears into your yellow lab it isn't going to be very pretty.

Even if they didn't eat any of your smaller fish (which would be a surprise) they would be stunted by such a small tank.

What are you water params anyway? Just curious. Also what kind of filters do you have? And how many water changes a week are you doing?

I clean my tank every 7 days ,I also alwayss check my ph , kh ,and gh just because it says newbie under my name i am not dumb , my parents always had fish , god i was trying something out , if u would like i could write u a tutorial about every fish i have in my tank , plus one on keeping up your aquariums , lol ease up , u really do make me laugh, and lmao on stunting their growth , i can move them right now or in 4 months and they will be fine

You mean that thing realy is a gar  Well, umm... very funny... I'm sorry but let me put it this way - Do you honestly think a 60 inch gar (assuming it lived to that size in a tank it wouldn't even be able to turn around in) is going to live in harmony with a 2" dwarf gourami? Come on! At least be realistic! If you want to play around with your fish's lives, at least try something that's even slightly likely to work. You say you could move them out right now, yes? Well then why don't you take out the completely ridiculous tank-mates (such as the gar!) which you must know aren't going to work out - after all, you say you could tell us all about each of those fish - and leave those that maybe won't be so much of a problem (though people have tried mixing yellow labs and cories in the past you know... they have very different requirements and very different characters but I'm sure you did your research and know this already :)). As for your saying you know what you are doing and will move fish when 'they start to get eaten' - is this supposed to make everything alright? So you're going to let some of your fish die before you realise that they won't get along? I'm sure people have tried some of these fish together. If it had worked out, everyone would be keeping this combination. If you are prepaired to sacrifice your fish for some 'experiment', we can't do anything about it, but at least we can try to discourage you from it and maybe you'll realise how selfish this is - especialy because you say you 'know what you're doing' and aren't prepaired to do something about it before it's too late even though you know your fish will inevitably suffer. I'm very, very sorry for your fish. :-( They don't deserve such treatment and I don't think the matter is funny in the slightest.

omg this is insane lmao!!!!!!! chill out people i bought the fish not you and i won't wait till they die , i will wait till they start getting aggressive , which for the last time they havn't yet

So you're just going to shrug it off? Alright then, there's no point, I won''t say any more.

Lovely gouramies. I love those.

you are so thick! You obviously dont get what everyone is saying. You just tell them they are crazxy etc and seem to brush them off.

Instead of your name being LovinMyFish, you should change it to KillinMyFish, because that is what you are doing! :grr:

No thank you.

So you have a larger tank right now that you could move them to? Because you said you could move them right now if you wanted to. Then why don't you? There's no point in arguing with you because you won't listen to any advice given to you at all. I feel sorry for your fish.

What is your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?
