My fish week

Hi

Since wednesday my fish tank has gone all upside down
I had 12 tetra's wednesday at 5:30pm
at 7:00pm I have 10
thursday I had 8
friday I had 6
So I take my blackwidows back for eating them that was today saturday
saturday at 3:00pm I had 5 so they are still dieing
right now 10:06pm I have 2.

I am so P*55*d off but I am going to have to get over it and move on.

Any additional info ??

New tank ? Water chemistry ? Set up ? Toxins ??

... perhaps the fish were not healthy in the first place ??

Thats not so good grayshark. Any losses are hard to deal with, let alone if you have a few

Sorry but it wasnt the black phantoms that were the cause. How old is the tank? How big? What are the nirates, nitrites, etc.?

its been a tropical tank with me for 1 year I got it from a car bootsale for £3 that was about 4 years ago so it is an oldish tank.

Size is, Hight 30cm , lenght 60cm , width 30cm
15 gallon.

I dont use a testing kit sorry guys.
I did a water change about 1hour after I put them in.
I dont have any water treatments at this moment in life.

Im just going to let the neons go now it in the past. yes I have lost a £10 but thats life some times.
so with my new fish Im going to get some money on my birthday and get some more balloon mollies and more swordtails.

I had a problem like that with my tetra's, I bought 7, 6 of them were eaten by the next day, the one that survived is doing well though
