Any ideas any one

i've seen the same thing in guppies. i don't know exactally what it is but what happened to my guppies is that they got stuck inbetween tanks and injured themselves.

i've also seen the same thing in sick and poor nutritioned fish.

Sorry this is going to sound awful put him down it could be fish tb and you are putting all the fish at risk in the tank.
He's not going to make it anyway, sorry.

ive had a fish like that there gonna die so put them out of its misery

my fish is developing this but not so severly she's in QT at the moment seeing if i can save her as I'm not definate what it is. Maybe if you can quarantine this fish you can try and save it

tb i think :/ best to put it out of it's misery.

I agree unfortunately. I would put him out of his misery quick. :(

Exactly the same thing happened to my Danio sadly he passed away wilst we were on holiday. I wish I had of just euthenised him before we left.
Gamwar
Please just humanly euthenise him/her.
Here is how to:
-Get a container of some sort mabye an empty margerine tub or somthing similer,
- Fill it with tap water,
- Put it into the freezer,
- When it has a thin layer of ice over it,
- dip him in. All of his organs will shut down almost emediatly.

there is some dispute if that's the best method of euthanasia

here's a pinned topic on the subject with some more info, help you make up your mind.

I just cut their heads off. Sounds shocking, but it's very quick for the fish. I know not many can do this.
But I am female, and have no problem with it, contrary to some belief.
If you go this way, get everything set up before you net the fish.
Bundle up a damp papertowel, get your knife ready(make sure it's sharp).
Remove it from the tank, put the fish on the towel, and cut the head off with your knife as quickly as you can.
It sounds cruel, but it really isn't. Your fish will have a swift death, of that I guarentee.
I just had to did it a few days ago on one of my Colombia Tetras.

Sorry for your loss. RIP.
Keep a close eye on your other fish, and do a 30% or so water change if you haven't already.
