Relax like i said...... "ITS Almost LIKE"

I would bet money on it being the crab. I had them once. Never again. I watched one grab a sizeable fish that swam between it and the glass and start tearing it apart.

Crab needs to go... fiddlers are not fully aquatic either. He needs his own tank with some way to get out of the water. Then I believe they also require a dish of brackish water.

Goldies need their own coldwater tank, goldies also get VERY large so need a large tank.

All your remaining fish are tropical fish and NEED a heater to maintain tank temps at around 76-78 degrees. The tetras and dainos need to be in schools of at least six of the same species.

You must first remove the incompatible fish and inverts. Then get the heater before you can add any more tropical fish to that tank.

Not to throw a wrench in the works, but I have a pair of fiddlers in with a bunch of guppies, and everyone gets a long fine, even the guppy fry. I think that tetra was the main cause of your problems with the injured fish. But as for the rest, please follow the advice here! These people have saved me from a number of tragedies of my own making.

2 goldfish - Get very large, have a massive waste production. Need a huge tank and are sub tropical (need cold water)
4 giant danios - Maybe add a couple more
2 black skirt tetras - Need at least 6. All shoaling fish will fin nip, larger groups keeps it between themselves
2 white skirt tetras - See above
1 blue flame tetra - See above
1 fiddler crab - Don't go well in a community tank as crabs will eat any fish they can catch. Often at night when the fish is sleeping, so a fish just vanishes. I believe they also need to come out of water occasionally and need either reachable land or a crab island (google it)
2 swordtails - OK

I make 73F about 22.5C. You should buy/turn up your heater to 25C and move the goldfish. Either to their own large tank or to someone else. Fish may survive at the conditions you have, but they aren't ideal and add un-needed stress on the fish, there's also no way to measure long term effects of inadequate conditions until the fish dies.

I didn't know about the disease/parasite resistance, but it makes sense.

Hope this is some help to you.

Just because said animal is so far still alive does not mean it is getting proper care. No fiddler is a freshwater aquatic crab. Without access to land and some for of salt/brackish water the crab will eventually die. It may take awhile, because these are hardy inverts. It takes a betta awhile to die in a cup too.

At all the LFS I use fiddlers are never in a fully aquatic environment.

My crabs are in brackish water in a crabitat. It's a 10g tank about 3/4 full with rocks for them to climb up to dry land whenever they like. I've tried to make it the best place for them, and think I have.

Good Job :good:

While I agree that fiddlers are scavengers first not hunters. A improperly cared for crab can certainly hunt a fish if it becomes desperate enough, which may be what happened in the OP's tank. This goes for a number of animals. Desperation can lead to abnormal behavior.
