Don't you think the word 'idiots' was probably a bit harsh? I didn't do any research before I came into the hobby. OK perhaps the surface that the guy put it on was a bit silly and needed a bit more thought but not everybody realizes what it takes to keep fish from the word go and I certainly didn't know that tap water had chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals in it before keeping fish.

first of all im back to site after a long time !! badboy i read ur comment !! well i dont know seriously if idiot is the right word !! but as far as i know !! i live in lebanon !! here we dont have water like us or europeen countries !! we have a big baril on roofs wish is filled by municipality water every 2 days !! that includes of course a lot of chlorine , lime, and a rust !!! so i didn't want to fill my water tank with such stuffs !! that's why i used mineral water bottles !! but hey !! it's a hobby ! and we all learn from our mistakes ! that's the reason im here for !
