What lens did you have on your 550D??

Ahh cool atleast i dont have to pay £30 for a bag of substrate to get a decent looking tank like yours .

So they are T8? sorry im new to all this .

Both are working as good as i expected. Flow is a bit strong though.

Flow needs to be good in a planted tank - especially as you start adding more and more plants.

Keyholes look great, I wish I had some

T8 means the tubes are an inch in diameter, and T5 means they are 5/8ths of an inch

Got my new plants in the post today.. Just shoved them in the tank for now but after work i'm completely rescaping the plants and considering adding ferts to aid growth.

Think I might have accidentally sent a Panda Cory to deathrow.. Little fella swam into my siphon tube when I was cleaning and got stuck sideways. Stopped the suction within a second and got him out, but he's got a ripped dorsal fin and is sitting at the bottom panting
