Hi

This is my first tank. It's a Fluval Roma 125 and started off roughly 3 months ago. I initially started with fake plants, but moved over to live plants pretty quickly. I did not go for any particular scape as i'm very much a newbie and also purchased all kinds of decorations :(. But here is my tank

Inhabitants:
1 Bolivian Ram
2 Apistogramma Macmasteri or Viejita (1m,1f)
1 Pearl Gourami
10 Harlequin Rasbora
3 Platy
3 otos (will be 4)
4 guppies (planning to give them away and add a female pearl)
4 Amano Shrimp

Plants: Amazon Swords, Vallis Torta, Crypt Wendtii, Crypt Becketii, Pygmy Chain Swords, Hygrophila Polysperma.

Cheers

Very nice tank. The plants look great. Any fish would look good in there.

It looks very nice, especially for a first attempt. When I first got my tank I bought loads of decorations, plastic plants etc that now just sit in a box upstairs. The first flush of enthusiasum combined with no knowledge of aquascaping leads to some very unwise purchases.

Thanks Lacuna. I know what you mean. My wife and I went and purchased some plastic plants and decorations as well and most of them are in a box. There is a bridge still in the tank which i want to replace with a nice piece of tall bogwood, but my wife loves the bridge since the day we got it, so i didn't get to do it. Another question from her would be 'why did i waste money?' for which i dont have any answer so i have to keep shut

I'll try and post more pictures soon.
