Hi folks,
I recently stumbled upon my old Juwel Rekord 60 in the loft. This was my first tank some years ago, and I have, as I assume is the normal story, graduated from this 60, through a 240 to a 400 litre tank with the expected transition from mollies and neons to larger fish, in my case south american cichlids. In the meantime there have always been the little tanks with bettas brightening up other rooms.
With a bit of room redevelopment I have found a little space for my Rekord 60 - but I'm mulling over what to put in it. I'd rather go species than community, and with a large planted tank already set up I wouldn't mind a change, though I wouldn't say I am totally against another planted tank. My thoughts so far have been scarlet badis, neolamprogus multifasciatus or caudopunctatus (though I am still in early research about those guys).
I guess it's the 'interesting small fish' question - something a bit different but doesn't need a 3 foot tank. I would welcome any ideas - anything at all, just something interesting with a bit of character!
Cheers
