You have some very pretty goldfish, you'll enjoy them for a long time I've no doubt. I'd wait on the minnows for a while and just add a few at a time so not to send your tank into a mini cycle when you're done with the first cycle.
I like your tank and I'm sure the goldies will too! :D

Your fish are lovely! i've kinda always wanted a few goldfish, but i just can't set up another tank right now! lol..
23UK gallons is equal to about 28US gallons. "Ideally" 1 goldfish needs 20(US) gallons, and then each additional goldfish needs 10 gallons. so, I wouldn't get anymore goldfish for this tank. They get pretty big ya know?
If you are just starting to get nitrIte readings you are in the middle of your cycle. only when ammonia=0 nitrIte=0 and nitrAtes are at LEAST below 20 is it safe to add more fish. Nitrates less than 10 being ideal.
What are the directions on the Nutrafin cycle? Its too late to do a fishless cycle if you already have fish;) Maybe it adds bacteria to the tank? i'm not familiar with this product. please tell me:)
I wouldn't add any other fish to the tank. If you must add something let it be White Cloud Mountain Minnows. They are coldwater fish also. If you get them though, after your tank has cycled, you'll want to get a few at a time. If you add too many fish at once it will send your tank through another "mini" cycle. (more fish waste than the bacteria can breakdown)
What are your exact readings? "fine" can mean many different things;)

Ammonia level is 0, Nitrite level 0.1mg (that one away from 0, on my colour scale)

Still checking the levels daily, don;t have a NitrAte test, is this necessary?

Nutrafin Cycle, is a biological supplement of beneficial bacteria. THe directions say it can be used weekly and it is impossible to 'overdose' the tank.

Should I do a water change tomorrow?? The water has been in for 2 weeks, fish in there for 5 days, looks clear still, was going to change about 20%

Thanks for advice on the minnows, I wont go out and get 12 at once, probably wait till the middle of next week, levels depending, and get 6.

You should not put more fish in until your tank is fully cycled, this will not be for a few weeks.

You will need a nitrAte test eventually to monitor how your cycle is going. I think you should in the beginners section for the pinned topic on cycleing.

the mountain minnows are fantastic fish, they even flare sometimes with their little fins, 6 would be a good shoal and they will most likely be happy. definately try and wait for the cycle, and by the way, ive heard that goldies will try and eat anything that fits in their mouth.. :/ so just be abit watchfull as they get big just in case! good luck though :)
