My First Snake

Hubby got me this little guy today for my birthday.............5 month corn snake and I'm so besotted with him and he's so friendly too

Hardest bit will be choosing a name for him......Hubby wanted to call him Salami.......duh...don't think so

i got rid of mine today!!!

had it for a while, its still small, like yours.

it was fine at first, then it started hiding away.

and recently wheenver i try to get her out she would hiss, and strike at me, soemtimes latching on.
she turned evil for no reason. so watch out.

Will definately keep an eye on him but hopefully he will be ok......been around quite a few corns of different ages and not come across any that were nasty.....so fingers crossed

yeah she was so nice. i feel bad, but i dont want a pet that attacks me.
im thinking of just putting fish in there she was in a 4ft tank lol.
but all the best luck with your new snake!
watching them swallow their mice and shed their skin is fascinating!

Not the best pet to have is it when they go for their owners He's getting his first pinky tomorrow can't wait!!!!

Cheers Guys......he has now been named Peanut Someone said it looked like he had a row of them down his back so it stuck.

I'm dying to get him out but I know he needs to to settle in for a while yet
