My First Reef Will Be A 21 Gallon

What would you put in it?

That is THE question...

Fish is my main question here, I need to research alot about non-fish life...

Tank is:
21 gallon "euro" style 16" deep (top to bottom), 14" from font to back, 24" wide.
Light is 2x 18w florescent, I will get new lights to allow a great reef...
Filter will be Two HOB, Aquaclear 50 , and Penguin 30-40, two small powerheads....

Not knowing much more about your tank and me being more a newb myself, I'v read that penguin's aren't the best since the bio-wheels are nitrate traps (bad), as for the powerheads 10x turnover ok, 15x good, 20x excellent so you want at least 200gph with your combine powerheads, more like 300gph would be better. Not sure what else you want but read the stickys here and get it going before getting livestock, and take your time. Fish I don't know much about yet.

I will not use the biowheel, understand the nitrate trap "theory"

There is GREAT liverock at a new small store close to my house. I also just turned in discus there for $300 store credit..

What fish would you get for a 21g nano? (I will have 30lbs live rock.) And lots of light.

Well it's all personal preference, but if I was setting up a 20G now, I'd probably buy a fantastic pair of pink skunk clowns my local shop has had for a while and a Goby / pistol shrimp combo.

it all depends on what fish you like , colours and do oyu want the same old clown fish rounte with gobys or somethingthat little bit out of the ordinary

I actually like the "same old clown fish rounte with gobys" but I am interested in suggestions that are out of the ordinary too.
