My First Ever Tank!

That is a great looking tank, as a newbie myself it has given me some good ideas

One question, and its a newbie one, with all the planting how do you go about hoovering the gravel when doing water swaps?

The rasboras have been at it..found a few eggs logged in the moss. Mental...only has them 2 days ?!

Your gourami is acting pretty normal. If you want cherry shrimp to start a breeding colony, start with 8-12.

I thought you had purple gravel when I saw the first picture! Coming along nicely!

First Tank!!? I have had tanks for about 8 years and my current tanks don't look as good as yours...

Ha, ha. I was thinking the same but thought I won't embarass myself publicly

To be honest I think I got lucky, the plants were random choices but it worked out. Your tanks look good from the signatures! Can't wait to get that inevitable bigger tank haha!!

thats amazing! hope to get my 60L set up with a natural look! gunna take my time with it, not gunna be easy!

Sorry no-one's answered you!

You use the gravel cleaner around the plants. What's right under them, they'll use as fertilizer :)

Wow this looks awesome! I hope my tank looks as good as this!

Update on the tank just tidied things up a bit and also you can see the plant growth...

Cheers for looking and the comments!!

Hi

I love the tank. A real inspiration for beginners and experienced folks alike. I like the after shot from your tidy up. Is that a little sand area you've added? It looks great. Draws you right into the tank. I'd be willing to wager that you are a photographer, professional or amateur, due to the way you've laid everything out. Like a perfectly composed photo.

Well done. I'll be looking back at this for ideas.

David
