I was asking in the lfs today if they had any new shrimp in (as I had one eye on the blue dempsey tank)and shes like oh we just have some red bees in  My eyes lit up and as I peered into the tank spotted six little traffic cones cowering in the corner as silvertip tetras circled like a pack of wolves. Well they are now happily exploring their new 8gal tank (only tankmates being a couple of juvie apple snails and some trumpets).

What you think grading wise anyone (I know they are low but 3 of them have pretty well defined stripes so I'm happy).

They look good :good:

Mine were practically see through when i found them in an LFS, I wouldn't bother trying to judge their grade until they have been in the tank a few weeks.

Nice find :D Wish I could keep CRS. I'm so jealous :X :X

Cheers guys, they seem to be doing great and have coloured up nicely.

Oh you people and your purdy shrimp make me sick with envy! lol

They look great and it's nice to hear they're settling well :D
Wish we would get more variety in shrimp here!

They look very nice its hard to grade them but some of them look like they have good solid white so higher than C or B. If they are young the red and white tends to be more solid and sort of dilutes in lower grades as they grow. They are still my favourite shrimp dont know why, they are not the easiest, maybe it is that the babies are super cute.
Hope they do well for you.

Very nice m8, I ordered grade A's a while ago for £6 each from my LFS. Yours look solid in colour and certainly dont look too disimilar to mine considering they are still in the bag, and prob stressed. I only bought 8, reckon the missuss may have killed me if I had spent more than £48 on shrimp.
