My first Betta

Hey everyone! Well today I purchased my first betta. As of now he is swimming about in his 2 gallon tank. A question though, I have to get a new filter for my 2 gallon, so I am purhcasing a whisper 2-5 gallon filter. I bought my betta from walmart and he is very beautiful, he was swimming about in that stupid cup they have them in. Also there were bubbles in the container on the surface, so I am thinking he was building a bubble nest. Well ill get pictures as soon as I can, he has a dull purple body, but his fins have a very vibrant red and purple on them. I love him so much!

congrats! I just got a new betta yesterday and he is in his own little 2 gallon as well.. his name is fyurough. (fure-oh)

you mean the whisper junior? i think thats too strong for a betta in a 2 gal. just get a corner/sponge filter.
