My First Baby Shrimp............... But!

Is this what you are talking about? If so then I am pretty sure they are baby shrimp. I have never looked a them under a microscope but I have noticed a direct correlation to seeing a big bloom of these and shortly after noticing an increase in small shrimp.

Umm, I'm not sure as mine don't seem to be moving quite as quick as yours!  But I'm kind of hoping that they are! as that would be fantastic!!
 

Newborns sure are small. Barely visible to the naked eye for a few weeks.
 
That guy sure does have a lot of shrimpletes.

Mine are barely visible so I'll keep an eye on them and see what happens.

I think the little dot type things may very well be lots and lots and lots of baby shrimp!!!!!

If you seem to be missing shrimp without finding any bodies, I'd adivse checking your filter ...

I do keep an eye on that and I did find one in there yesterday, but I don't think they can get pasted first stage which is a very big piece of sponge.
