My First Attempt At A Planted Aquarium

well i have lost 6 of the 10, the couple that are still in there are still going, fingers crossed. Seen a fresh shed skeleton today so it could be that the others were having problems molting, if it were copper or other heavy metals, surely they would all be dead by now, i think it might be a stress issue, i may have shocked them with a water change. Also looking into better lighting, the stock lights just arent cutting it for the HC. the raja and dwarf grass is doing fine but the HC isnt doing great

bought myself a http/www.aquaessentials.co.uk/arcadia-ecoaqua-30w-led-spotlight-tropical-p-5998.html and already its making a huge difference, the HC is recovering now and starting to flourish, will post a pic very soon once the HC has started to carpet, already small shoots starting to come through the substrate

a bit of bad news thought, i lost 3 of the neon tetras the other day, they managed to jump out of the aquarium through the small slot at the top between the edge of the tank and the lid.

Looks good. With time it will look even better.
Sorry to hear about the neons though. Sometimes it happens nothing you can do about it.
Keep posting pictures because that cuba will look even better with time.
