my firemouth!!

He seems to have lost his red belly, im not sure why thought he isnt very old i just got him wots up wit him??? Alos wot is the best food 2 feed them and the water that is best suited for them

My firemouth doesn't have a lot of color on his belly either but is more red on the "throat". He seem very healthy and active and apparently gets along well with the tiger barbs. I just got mine about a month ago. I feed all fish in his tank (tiger barbs, green tiger barbs, albino tiger barbs and zebra danios) Nutrafin Max Complete Tropical Flakes and Bloodworms. I was going to go out at lunch today and get some brine shrimp but I got too busy. This damn work thing keeps cramping my lifestyle .

My well water has a pH of 8.2.
