Was not asking for your approval of my setup, was asking if fish of different types normally school together, no need to be a "richard" about it.

Them schooling together is a result of not having their own species to do it with.

I'm just gonna jump in here and say this we all go off of basic fish keeping rules regarding size of tanks numbers of fish and what goes with what but one thing that needs to be taken into account with CadillacJ tank is this he's going to be getting a bigger tank and so let's not jump to how big the fish will get since he says it will be taken care of and if these fish have been getting along for 9 months I'm sure they will get along until he gets a new bigger tank to move some of the big guys into.

Well the thing with that is the BGK is still growing, just because their fine now deosnt mean they will in a few weeks even.
 
I understand he is upgrading but there is also many schooling fish in there with improper numbers.

Unless I'm wrong he said he's going to get more so they are up to the proper numbers.

This forum has had members grow BGK babies to 50cm in less than two years in a 6x2x2 tank and then he had to rehome the fish because BGKs do not have a flexible body to turn corners easily, which means the tank needs to be rather deep and wide, so start planning where to put your 10x4x4.

thank you, i will be getting more fish, the new tank will be here within two weeks, and the old tank will only house the smaller fish, i will also be adding more of the same type for the schooling fish, a 10x4x4 tank would be closer to 1200 gallons if im not mistaken, and as i was told by the breeder i purchased my BGK from that 150 to 200 is more than enough space.
