My Dp Tank

this is my dp tank. its 5 gal with a fluval 1 plus filter and 11w arcadia arc pod. it is going to house a dp and about 5/6 shrimp.

i still need to get some plants for the back (recommendations?) and i would like the wood to be partially covered in java moss with it spilling down to make a carpet of java moss covering the left hand side when i can get some cuttings

please tell me how i can make it better!

and anyone know where i can get a DP?! im in south devon

firstly, amazing aquascaping job!

Like you said needs a bit more plant filling, but make it as interesting as you can, as puffers are extremely intelligent! so lots of plants, caves etc

i THINK vallis for the back? im not very good with plants lol!

apart from that, good luck with your puffer

Do yourself a favour and get another Fluval 1+ filter! I had one in my blue cube tank and it wasn't enough for a small shoal of green neon tera so it won't be that effective on it's own for one DP who will poop for medals and eat very meaty foods all the time

Other than that, nice tank. Some small caves would be nice for the DP made from flat pebbles or such

everything looks great...deff wana add some more plants....what about adding a few rocks about 2 inches or so across? they can really fill in any blank spots you might see

no i am yet to add caves as i needed the tank as a hospital tank for a while

i have cut the wood with java fern on in half as i though it took up a bit too much space plus i needed some extra stuff in another tank.

can anyone recommend plants to get?

you should get some java moss, more ferns and crypt wendtii green, these should all survive
