My Crypts Dont Like Green

hello
i keep buying green crtptos and in my tank they allways turn brown

i know that there is the brown species but in the store they are always green?

how do i change this?

You can use very low light, that tends to change them back.
The other thing is emergent culture....they are grown that way, shipped, then turn red submersed.

"Green Gecko" stays pretty green submersed under high light, with a little red veining, but still mostly green.

This is so true.

When you walk into a shop Wendtii 'brown' is alway green due to the lighting they have and also the way it has been grown.

After a month or so it is a beautiful mix of green, brown and purples.

There are green variants of most crypts. Best to buy7 from a reputable seller who knows what the plants he/she is selling are.
