OMGG..that tree frog is the cutest frog eva!!!!!!!!!! i want one...what do u keep him in i have a 30 gallon aquarium that has a leak in it..ive been thinkin of turning it into a frog habitant...do u think it's big enuff, or should i get somethang bigger??? very neato pics too!!! i used to have aloes as-well, when i was like 7

Lexxa, a 30 gallon tank would be great for a treefrog. I actually have mine in a 10 gallon at the moment because he's not too big, and I'm going to be upgrading him into a larger tank soon.

He's about three inches long at the moment, I believe. I'll get him out and measure him for you later.

And no problems with saving the picture - it's fine with me!

aww thx..i have the pic of him on the log with his eyes open as a desktop right now..i accually saved all the pics of roy so i can switch...everyone thinks he's the cutest frog eva!!!! we have wild tree frogs where i live, but they look different than roy, where is he from. I have never seen one like him in my lfs, was he hard to find?? im on the search for one asap, my next pet is so gonna be a frog like him..lol i cant wait to find one. do u take him out of his aquarium often??

I believe he's from Australia, or maybe it was Indonesia? One of those places. I take him out of his cage quite a bit, but not every day as from what I've heard, it's not too good for them. He isn't a jumpy frog, so he's much easier to handle then small little green treefrogs. Our local petshop gets them in every so often, but like I've said before they're pretty expensive little guys. I paid somewhere inbetween $30 and $40 for Roy, but it was well worth it.

i would so pay 40$ for that lil guy!!!!! yea our lil wild tree frogs are very jumpy,infact almost all the frogs here are jumpy....lol..maybe them being a wild animal might have something to do with it... but im sure that if u had a frog as a pet they would get used to you.

I'm really sad to say that my little treefrog passed away today. I have no idea what was wrong with him, he was perfectly fine yesterday when I turned his light off for the night. I probably won't be able to locate another, but nobody will replace my favorite little Roy.

He was pretty cool - I saw them at one of the petshops around here the other day, I might get another but I'm contemplating it at the moment. For now, here's Eddie, my ornate horned toad:

I don't think I could handle a snake - feeding them mice and all would just break my heart. Although once Eddie gets big enough, I'm probably going to have to start adding frozen pinkies into his diet...
