my cory just squeeked at me!holy CR@P!

Hi everyone.
well i just had the weirdest experience ive had in my time of fish keeping!
i was starting a cory only tank and i was doing quite well moving my cories to their own tank.
But on the third cory(C.Aeneus "Albino") i was carrying it by hand(dont worry..it wasn't dirty or harmful to fish) and he just suddenly squeeked at me! a loud one too! i guess he didn't like me carrying him like that!
i was so suprised i droped him in the tank so quikly i wasnt even sure if he even made it that far!
but hes fine now and is the first fish of mine to ever have a name.
I named him Johnny the Squeeker!
anyway....i was just wondering, has anyone else heard their corydoras make noises?
is it normal?

i have heard weird squeaks like a hamster being stepped on... maybe cories to squeak .. like loaches click sometimes!

I have never heard mine squeak but I do have to move them this weekend so I will pay attention. Great post made me nearly fall off my chair

well the thing is, i've never actually heard them squeek when they were in the water....just when i was carrying them across

My albino cory squeaked last night - it jumped up to the surface for air as usual and I definately heard a squeak! Thought I had heard something before, but was never watching at the time. Caught in the act!

i dont hear anything from my cories but i slept on my couch last night and the freakin raphael was clickin the whole night. hes even better out of water. I was movin him once and he started buzzing. It was cool but really wierd
