When i woke up this morning my con was stuck in one of the decos I dont know how long he was there but he is pretty hurt.I put some melafix in the tank.Is there anything else i can do???

is he still stuck in the decoration? would try to find a way to get him out if you can. what kind of decoration is it? you could also add some salt to the tank. aquarium not table salt.

oh of course i got him out but he is pretty beat up,now hes lying on his side at the bottom i dont think he is gonna make it

was not sure if you were able to get him out or if that was part of the question, how to get him out.

would add salt. one heaping tablespoon per every five gallons of water. also add an antiobiotic designed to treat external illnesses. the salt will help with his respiration. stress can cause the fish's gill function to become hindered. turn out the lights for 24 hours. don't offer food. you will not starve him. fish can go for a few weeks without eating.

is he alone or are there other fish in the tank? how big is the tank?

i dont have a car and i cant get to the aquarium store today.i put in melafix but it doesnt seem to be helping.hes in a 20 gallon with 1 other con.
