My Cichlids And Tankmates......

Hello. Here are some pics of my cichlids and their tankmates.
In the big tank are the reg green terror, ports, and convict, and 1 fire mouth. (150)
In my small tank ( 55) are the red oscar, royal green terror, corys, and sydontis.

He gets along fine. He just chases the agressive one around.

No. A royal green terror is like a ebjd. They are made with more color, 2 plain green terrors are bred, then they do something for color not sure.

Pretty sure its just a GT that the LFS has tried to squeeze more $$$ for. The comparison to an EBJD doesn't do it for me, there's a clear difference between a JD and an EBJD.

Just because a fish may be more colourful, doesn't warrant a whole new name in my opinion, it will just be a colourful example of that species. For example, your 'regular' GT looks more colourful than your 'Royal' GT.

EDIT: Don't want to get into an arguement but just saying I think its a trade scam to generate more money to be honest.

NO NO NO! Don't worry about getting in an arguement with me.. lol I won't argue. lol I agree with you, but I don't even know myself. I am just going by what the lfs told me. I like royal gt and all gts alike.
I had to rehome this gt he was an aggressive sucker. More aggression than my plain gt.

As far as I am aware, there is no such thing as a Royal Green Terror. You get your Gold Saum and your Silver Saum.
