what does this mean? does this mean she is now fertile? or does it mean babies are on the way??

Saddles are eggs developing in the ovaries. Knowing cherry shrimp babies are most likely on their way, the eggs will move from the saddle to underneith her where the term will become 'berried'. She will look after them there, fanning them for around 2 weeks I think.
