My Catfish Is Ill

Hi

I have been treating my catfish for what i believed to be a fungial infection. It was clearing up untill i missed 1 day of treatment and it is now back to where i started.
He also now seems to have a red spot on one of his fins.
Does any one know if im treating him for the wrong thing, and what this red spot is.
I have another catfish, guppys and neons and none have caught it.
he is still eating and swimming about as normal. Oh and this has been there for about 2 weeks but the red spot i have just noticed.
Have done all test and readings are all fine.
I have included the best picture i can, sorry its off my phone.

Hm i would advise treating him with a med which can treat both bacterial infections and fungal ones at the same time like Pimafix instead of using an anti fungal only med, as the reddening is mostly likely the start of septicemia in the fish (septicemia is an internal bacterial infection, which Pimafix can treat) which should ideally be treated as early on as posible .

I have gone recently to a strong combination of anti bacterial and anti fungal. But I am using Mardel products which I don't think are available in the UK. But Jungal Buddies has some combo meds that seem to be usable without losing all the good guys. Everything I get seems to be so stubborn!
