My Cardinal Tetra's !

Most Cardinal Tetra's for sale in the shops are wild caught, as it is cheaper and easier to import than it is to breed them in captivity.

Hmm, so maybe I already have these "larger" ones then? My cardinals are about 2 inches long. I think they're full grown as they are 2 years old? I'm assuming they are full grown. Interpet123, how big are your cardinals? I'll have to ask my lfs where I got them initially as I think he gets them from a local breeder.

3-5cm is about right for Cardinal's, there will be both genetic and environmental factors that influence size in the same way that any human is affected.
