Hi. I don’t know where to post this so I just put it here. Or maybe move to a new thread. I have a cardinal tetra in my neon tetra school. And he has a weird white spot on his side. Just one. I’m sure it’s not Ick. And he constantly open and closes his mouth. Other than that, he seems fine. But I’m just worried about it. It might get worse

@Flopper, we need pictures that are in focus.

For OP, do not add new fish until you know there are no problems in the tank. that means working out what is wrong with the current fish, then waiting a month before adding more.

Is the cardinal tetra eating normally?
What does its poop look like?

Yes it is eating and pooping normally. It’s been like this for a while. Like a couple of months. It hasn’t affected any other fish.

The fish isn't okay Colin.
Fins are ragged and seem to show white edges.

OP, it is better to start a thread of your own to prevent confusion with the initial issue / thread.

I have moved the post by Flopper and the replies to this post to start a new thread.
