Don't mean to be rude but why did you breed a veil tail for? You know all veil tails are already at least a year old and the fry are usually ugly since their from a lfs.

Hey I'm a first time breeder. (Anyways I can't get a really pic of my male thats from goggle, buts it pretty close) Heres what the mother kind of looks like, but long spikey tail fin and green highlight scales.

That's not very nice, and entirely true. LFS VT's are not ugly, they're just common. No betta is ugly.

The female still has eggs in her though. I'll have to wait till the fry grows up and re breed her again....ya know the what the funny thing is? She had eggs in her before I bought her. So I had to breed her or I would have had a big mess. :p

What in the world do you mean? How would you have had a big mess? Females that don't use their eggs only re-absorb them into their bodies and no harm is done.

Ok. A lot of her eggs did come out sooo I'm sure she can wait a few months to re breed her again.

Well I'm going to have to wait till the fry are grown up and out of my 10 gallon. I woulld also usee one of my other males. (Only because it can wait to long.) The female is out of the tank and my male is tending to the eggs.

Why aren't you answering my questions? Please do. A 10 gallon is way too small to raise betta fry in...

Ok, you just answered
