Ice Queen
Well, I bought a tank off eBay - £10 for a Aquaone 126 with a few bits in it. It came with some horrible looking gravel (went straight in the bin lol), some of those fake plastic brightly coloured shells (which the kids have adopted into their random colelction of toys), a couple of real shells which I threw away cuz they were really sharp, and a couple of plastic plants.
So this is it just plonked on top of the stand:
These are the silk plants and heater I bought:
Then yesterday a friend brought me a 2 foot tank and all the gubbins he had lying around to go with it. This is the 2 tanks next to each other, the betta tank having been cleaned with the silk plants waiting in it, and the new tank EXTREEEEEEEEEMELY dirty!!
While cleaning that out I also cleaned a couple of seives full of gravel and put them in the bottom of the tank, then put the silk plants in along with a couple of terracotta pots I had waiting for a use, so here's what it looks like now:
Now all I need is a fish to put there and I'm sorted - the filter will be an air powered box filter which is currently sitting in my 240L keeping cycled.
