excuse the shoddy quality, i quickly took this with my ipad. his colouring looks better irl haha

also, i made a peephole in the duckweed where i feed him and he can come up for air.
i got a piece of rubber bendy tube and made it into a ring, then sterilised it with boiling water before putting it in the tank. the duckweed holds it in place.
its cool when the fish swims underneath and i can watch him clearly from above.

this isnt really a profile shot, but its an above shot i got straight after his dinner. you can see the colouring here bc it isnt greened-out from the light filtered through the duckweed.
