well thought id post a pic of my betta rhyu its the best pic i have managed to get of him so far. please ignor the murky warter think my tank is going threw a bacterial bloom at the moment its cleared up alot today tho.

also a vid i got of him yesterday.....



think he seem realy happy at the moment, bin meaning to get him some real plants this week but havn't had time with working 12 hour shifts at the moment

You might want to consider getting a gan valve for the air pump, however. Betta's tend to not like so much movement.

arh great thanx i woundered what i could do to the air pump to slowe it down ill get a gan valve soon.

thanx i named him after the character in street fighter lol wanted to name him after a japanese fighter like brucie lee or some one lol so went for a street fighter character.

i swear he is changing colour aswell now going a more purple colour and redish fins, is this ok or normal or summing should be woried about?

do you all think he looks happy? he is constantly swimming around and now and again he'l rest on heater or in them fake plants. how can you tell a happy betta? im hoping he is happy as reason i baught him was pet store i saw him in kept him in a tiny 3inch by 3inch cube and i felt realy bad for him so baught him
