My betta is at the post office!

Ive been looking for a yellow betta for the longest time, I finally found one on eBay of all places. So right now, he's sitting at the post office or pimpin' around w/ the mailman because either I didn't hear him beep the horn or he just didn't do that (I have to sign for it).

I'm so excited & also kinda scared that I'll open it & have a floater... I have to wait until 3, so that leaves more than 2 hours of waiting & wondering.

How many of you have gotten fish in the mail? Anyone ever have a bad experience?

Hes a veiltail, I'll take some pics later on tonight after he gets used to his new home.

The guy has lots of good feedback for his fish, but one neutral from a doa, which worries me of course. Stupid 2 hour wait!

Actually my boyfriend bought it, he paid $13.49.

I realize this is a lot for a veiltail, but Ive always wanted a yellow betta, of any kind, and it seems all the lfs in my area just carry blues & reds.

you should come down to maryland at my lfs they have black melano crowntails, and wild type bettas like imbellis smaragdina,mahachai, and thailand fighters. and there all 3.99

we just got in 2 betta's through fed ex just yesterday....they're in great condition! the female is all excited over the male, and the male already has his own huge bubblenest! it's really great....good luck on gettin yours!

Just came back & he's ALIVE!!!

My post lady isnt too bright though, she was handling it like any other package so I said "be careful, theres a fish in there". So she SHAKES it, as if to see whats inside, like a Christmas gift.

Awe I want to breed so bad now, hehe. I only have to get a large tank, millions of jars, and a female ct

That's funny, I just saw a yellow betta at petco yesterday. I guess it all depends on where you live!

I'd love to find a pure green one though. Can't find any like that around here!
