I thought I would post some pictures of my betta fish.
The one betta fish is in a 10 gallon tank with some ghost shrimp.
The other betta fish is in a 5 gallon tank with a few ghost shrimp as well.
I no longer have the snail in with the one betta since it started to eat my live plants and bulbs.
Unfortunately my bettas don't have names. I was name good at picking names out lol.
Now I know the 5 gallon tank looks bare now but I do plan to get at least decoration in there soon.
Anyway here are some pictures and one movie.

Thanks for saying that my crowntail is lovely.
what do you mean that it looks like my betta bites his tail?

That blue color is so pretty! So is your crowntail!

How do you put bamboo stalks in there? I've seen it in a bunch of tanks but does it take any special preparation? It's very gorgeous.

unfornatley my bamboo didn't make it lol. It started to do badly it's leaves turning brown.
although I never had much success with bamboo lol. My bannana plant is doing well though.
I may get some more next time we get more in at work. Thanks for saying my bettas are pretty.

the first picture, he looks like he has a very ragged tail, that just screams tail biter to me, sometimes bettas will eat they're own tails, sometimes because they're bored, or insecure, sometimes they do it for no reason. Regardless hes an awsome color!! bright blue

Liberty802 I didn't know that bettas bit their own tails. I haven't seen any peices of fins in the tank at all and I haven't seen him bit his tail. Thanks for saying that he's pretty. :D

I had two that bit their tails. Annoying. At first I thought it was finrot, but then I caught them doing it. Obsessive, paranoid, little men. The first I lost a long time ago, but my other tail biter started growing fins back when I put another betta next to him. Go figure. Maybe he needed someone to look at.

PS: Your bettas are very, very pretty. I especially like the CT, a very nice find! And your setups are very nice, a little Spartan, but nice. Lucky bamboo doesn't do well underwater as you have found out. It is not an aquatic plant. If you like plants, for your setup, depending on what your lighting is, I recommend cryptocorynes. They do well with less light and they have nice, soft, broad leaves that the bettas like to rest on. Other plants that may do well are java fern, egeria densa, mosses, etc.

Great Bettas! Just alittle add on from lljdma06, look out for Amazon Swords and Anubis as these also tend to grow quick and need less light.

Thanks for the suggestions about plants everyone.
I'll try and get some more plants whenever I can.

Nice boys. I have been looking for a Betta with see through fins for forever.

If at all possible, your boys would no doubt appreciate a broad leafed silk plant that reaches the surface. They will make a hammock to sleep on near the surface.

Your bettas look cool...iv always wanted a ct but always ended up getting a vt of some sort...im sure to buy a ct as my next betta...anyway, what's that plant on the far left of your first pic??? it kind of looks like a lily of some sort???
