My Betta Came

Synirr, when I got your betta, she was litterally, in a puddle of water. She came just in time! I'll take pix later. I named her creme, as she looks a little white, and I've had her for a big now. She'll need to be in her own tank temporarily, as Lemon, keeps on threatining her! Poor Pie is trying to defend Creme, but she can't!

iv heard of a couple other incidents recently about synirrs fish comeing DOA, i wonder how he's packageing them. good thing you got to her soon thogh, did teh bag leak or was it just tipped in a way that the water was really shallow?

I believe Synirr mentioned some time ago that after a point in her packing, she ran out of boxes that were a particular size, so she had to improvise

I saw a 2.5G at HarMar for $12.95, which I didn't think was a fantastic price.
I liked the shape of it, so I might get it and divide it in two, but It'd be cheaper to just buy 2 Kritter keepers, but it also looked cooler than a kritter keeper.

When I shipped 2 weeks ago I ran out of normal boxes, UPS didn't have them in stock, and I couldn't find any smaller than like 12x12x12 anywhere in town, so I improvised... it was a bad idea and definitely won't be happening again. I used boxes that were too small and they apparently got mandhandled in the mail. I'm a she, BTW

Yup, the bag was leaking.

Was the outer bag leaking too, or just the inner bag?? I single bagged all the fish before going to class that day, then double bagged after I got home and none of them were leaking at that time, so I dunno what went on there... maybe it was a faulty bag or something?
It seems like I've been having so much trouble with shipping lately, but hopefully the DOAs from last time will be the last for a long time to come *knock on wood*. It sounds like it's a good thing the little girl arrived when she did!

Yes Synirr, both bags were leaking. Outer and inner, although it coul've been the weather's fault, it was completely unpredicted, 39 degrees out!
