shes so cute you can see she wants to be loved, have you tried the blink game yet?
when shes in a good mood blink slowly a few times she should do it back, my bird likes this game, i can get parrots in pet shops to do this. also for some reason they love to watch humans sleep, when we first got roamer i pretended i was asleep on the sofa when i looked up at her she was watcing over me. all the best donna.

You have such a beautiful African Grey parrot. You are very lucky to own one. I LOVE THESE LITTLE GUYS! I was watching a television show on Animal Planet called Amazing Animal Videos, and they had an African Grey parrot, the oldest on record in the United States, and he could identify what matter something was: wood, wool, metal, etc. I am thinking of getting an African Grey parrot one day. Congrats on your parrot.

Lovely Gray! Awesome that she's so good with you allready; my Amazon was so tramatized when I rescued her that I could only touch her feet and beak for months. I wouldn't be surprised if the "I hate men" thing is just part of her personality though; many parrots are very much one-gender birds. Aspen, my conure, prefers men, while my amazon prefers females.
