thought you might like to see some pics of my other tanks

this is my pride and joy...the blue phantom

he live here...

with....2 convits.

2 blue acaras.

and 2 firemouths that are too blurry to show you

i also have an oscar tank.

here they are

they are in with a common sailfin plec and a texas cichlid

All very nice but that looks to be a green terror not a blue acara.

i too thought the same until i researched them both and it is a common mistake to get the two species mixed up

Your Blue Phantom is nice

I would say that looks like a Green Terror as well.

i have had green terrors that turned out to be blue acaras and vice versa, blue acaras dont have the thick gold band on the tailfin so im almlst certain it is a green terror or a blur acara/green terror hybrid.

ok thanks i see your point there and it is one that i will persue with yes i'm sorry pets at home (i was in there buying dog food and saw them tagged up as blue acaras.)
had a disscussion about GT and BA mixups and they assured me it was a BA so i most probably wrongly took for granted that they knew what they were selling
even so they seem to be doing ok and i like them lol.

They'll normally pretty chillaxed until they get bigger.

Very nice indeed. I too have not seen marbled convicts like that before.
