My American Rio

Will get one for the last hooray as it will be rescaped at the weeked. Bagged myself a co2 kit for it so new plants etc are on the horizon. :hyper:

The Nannacara spawns were done and dusted in two nights. Lol. I really do need to get them in their own tank to have a go at raising some fry.

I know you're already changing it, but your tank looks great! I have the same one and am starting it over, so it is nice to see its potential. I have a question though. It's not a criticism because you are obviously more experienced than me! Are the angels staying in that tank? I assumed I needed more space for angels, but it looks like you have at least four. I'm undecided about what we will stock with, so am just curious, really!

Hi mossonthemoon. There is 6 Angels in the tank atm. They were all sourced from the same place and are the same kind. My long term plan is to let a pair form naturally and then remove the rest. The tank may be upgraded to a Rio 240 eventually, but for the time being its adequate for them as they're still juveniles. No issues with regards to aggression between them due to the group being a nice size.

Thanks for the kind comments, and its a great username too. :D

JBL proflora 500. The bottle is empty so I've got a FE to use with it. Also ordered a new diffuser and bubble counter from tankscape. Just need a drop checker now, but that's not really essential as of yet.

The kit was from here Stu. Have a look in the general classifieds under equipment. :good:

Wow your really going for a full on attack on planting this time. Good luck :good:

Thanks for the reply! That makes sense. I would love to try something similar, however I tend to get too attached and I would probably never give them away. I am getting an idea of what I want to do with my tank now. Seeing the exact tank planned out nicely and planted fully really made it easier to visualise mine. It has been a while since mine was running and I do think it looked nice, but it wasn't planned out at all.
