lowestoft,
so ever since i started keeping fish i have always wanted a reef tank of my own as they look so so stunning and after a friend got one i knew one day i would have to have one of my own. so i got loads of books and then i found this fourm which has been very helpfull to getting to where i am now.

so i started off buy getting the equipment needed to start this fantastic hobby which include

lee's marine 30 gallon skimmmer (sooon to be upgrading to Tmc 120 skimmer)
sun sun 3000lph wave maker
heater 200w

then i added the pre mixed saltwater to the tank put the equipment in place

i love the goby, was admiring one in lfs the other day and have plottingto buy one next

tell me though does he rest on the corals? i only ask as a reefer i bought a coral off said his was a nuisance and sat on his corals causing them to die where he was sitting?

hi m8 i not 100% sure as i only have 1 very small xenia coral and my goby doesent pay much attension to it, it hides behind my cheato alge most of the time but what i have seen on the youtube is that they seem fine with corals i seen them hiding in the middle poking there lil head out looks really cool. also i read that if they are breading they can rip at the coral host so they can lay there eggs on a patch but thats only if ur planning on breeding them im sure someone on here can tell u more.

here a link of a yellow coral goby in a coral there videos on the side with loads of different coral host
