My 64 Litre Tank Wish List

Honeys are smaller than dwarf Gouramis - maybe a single male?

I have five but they are in my 180 litre.

I think one male, one female would be too much for the female. You could go either one male, or two females?

Sorry, I was thinking of Pearl rather than Honey.

It sounds like the females are less colourful than the males, so I think I'll go with a male dwarf unless I can find some honeys locally.

Ok, just have a read up on dwarf gourami disease first.

hi i know i am new to the site but i have had a siemise fighter fish in my tank before, and it has caused me alot of trouble - he chasses around all my small fish causing 5 deaths overall - they may harm your neon tetras. The neon tetras will be a nice addition to your tank however they are better suited for established tanks not for new ones (there would be a high chance of death)

hope i helped and wasnt to late good luck :) xx

Thanks. I decided against the betta, although I would love to have one one day.

I've now got 2 female Platies and a male Dwarf Gourami. All are doing fine. I've had the Platies for around 9 weeks and the Gourami for 5 or 6.

Next weekend I plan to replace my gravel with sand ready for 6 habrosus cories, which my LFS is trying to order for me. Once they've arrived and settled in I hope to add 6 Neons to complete my tank, but that probably won't be until November time.

I hope I've made some sensible decisions!

Thanks all for the advice.
