EDIT: I didn't realize how big the pictures were when I uploaded them to imageshack. I'm sorry for the hugeness of them. Dial-up, beware :p

I haven't been on the forums for a while, and how times have changed. Last time I was here, I only had a 5g and a 15g, and was in the midst of setting up a 30g. Nowadays, I`ve got my 60g and my 125, so I figured I`d post a couple pictures of the tanks and their inhabitants. I just cleaned and rescaped the 60 today, as well as put the background on it (SeaView is an irritation, let me tell you). As for the 125, it has just recently been set up, and I don't have nearly what I would like in it at the moment. Only a few fake plants, and a couple pieces of slate. I've got the background for it, I just haven't got around to putting it on yet. I plan to get it looking great inside very soon, but you try having a 6ft tank ready to go and delay getting it started and you'll see how I feel. ;) So, without further ado...

Weather/Dojo Loaches; Very cool little guys, getting very chubby. Very curious. (60 Gal)

Pike Cichlid; Definitely one of my favourites. Pretty sure he is of the 'Crenicichla Alta' species. (125 Gal)

Rotkeil Severum; Such a gorgeous fish, I had to post three pics. I love how colorful, and amazing Severums look, especially him. (Thanks for the confirmation on it being a Rotkeil guys. :)) (125 Gal)

Now that may not be all of the fish in my tanks, but that's all the pictures I could get before my camera died. :p For a full stocking, check my signature. :)

If you'd like to let me know what you guys/girls think of either of my tanks, comments or criticism are welcome :)
Thanks for taking the time to browse my post and check out my pics. :)

Very nice 125g!!

I actually like the look of a big tank without a background (but only if there is a light coloured wall behind) and took the background off my own 6-footer to get the look :p

I do like that pike cichlid .... never really kept cichlids before ... I probably shouldn't start now ....

gorgeous!!! that severum is spectacular! :hyper::drool:

yep hes a rottie for sure a nice 1 too . will be even nicer once he grows . :good:

Thanks for the compliments, and the severum confirmation guys. I've been thinking he was a rotkeil, just wasn't positive. Another thing I'm not too sure about is if he/she's a male or female. I've red that males get a redder face and have 'sqiggles' on their face, as the site called it, but not having more than one make's it a bit harder for me to tell. Is anyone able to tell from those pictures which it is?

@VickiandKev; There's never a time to not start keeping cichlids :p They're awesome, by far my favourite fish (at least, until I'm able to keep some real monster fish ;)). Most, if not all, are full of personality in their own ways. The pike cichlid has been a real treat to watch grow, he's very owner responsive and can eat like a beast to top it off.

@Jenste; Thank you very much, he/she truely is a beauty.

@Mark; Thanks, I can't wait for him/her to get bigger, it's going to be great. :D

Cleaned and rescaped my 125 today, and got a quick video of it if anyone is interested in watching. :) Still slacking on getting the background on though, lol.

Apologies beforehand for the lower quality cam, dirty-ish glass and my unsteady hand ;) Hopefully it's still watchable.

Oh, and by the way, if you're wondering what's up with my Marble Gar's stomach, he filled up on pellets before this video. Yes, my gar eats pellets, haha :p
