Sorry for the blurryness, it looks better without the flash IMO
I also have a Cold Cathode Moon light set up, but all the pics of it look like crap, so use your imagination lol :p

In the tank i have:
-5x Clown Loaches (Chromobotia macracanthus) (dont tell me they get too big for this tank, i know this, i will be rehoming them soon )
-2x Convict Cichlid (Archocentrus nigrofasciatus)
-1x Salvini Cichlid (Cichlasoma salvini / Nandopsis salvini...idk which)
-1x Chocolate pleco (Pterygoplichthys scrophus)

Female ? Salvini (still up in the air about sex):

Well thats it, thanks for looking!!

Nice set up. I would have to question your stocking. Clown loaches need a bigger tank than 55 gallons, so this makes you overstocked. You should rehome them if you are not planning to upgrade to a larger tank.

He said he'd be rehoming them.

Nice tank. I'd like to get convicts.

Are they hard to keep?

What do you feed them and things like that?

I'll be a getting a new tank soon.

180 litre, 48 gallons.

My local shop sells them and i own A FLUVAL ROMA 125 AND FLUVAL ROMA A 90.

The 90's empty has been running for ages.

The 125's a community tank with a piar of angels 8 neons. 3 pearl gouramis currently.

Only been set up for 6 months.

Which one can i house them in for a while until i get my 48 gallon tank running?

Nice setup dcarmor! :good:

I love the Salvini. Great looking fish.

I know I haven't been on this site for long, but what is it with people always looking for the negative? I understand trying to inform people of possible problems, but it seems many times they don't read the post (i.e. pointing out a problem that has already been pointed out and known). Some people need to read the whole post before commenting.

to clarify with the clown loaches: i have 2 that are about 1.5 inches, 2 are 2.25-2.5 inches and 1 that is 3 inches...they arent anywhere near needing a new home yet, tho i dont want them to be mauled by the cichlids so they may have to go sooner than i would have liked...

Thanks for the reply! They are pretty easy to keep, from what i've researched...i have only had them for a week lol...I have some floating Hikari pellets for them but they havent caught on that th e food is at the top so i have also been giving them blood worms

I would say to put them in the empty 90 until you can get the new tank, im pretty sure your angels would hate you for mixing with the cons...most convicts in the stores are no bigger than 3 inches so they will be fine for a while in the 90...but when they get full grown they will need as much space as possible...i think a pair would be fine in the 180 tank, but dont hold me to that...

Thanks for the reply! i love that salvini too, but she is pretty shy still lol

dont worry about the negatives...with alot of pics people can overlook the text...also drobbyd has helped me a fair amount on the site so i forgive him lol...when people only post about the negatives they are looking out for the fish's best interest which is the whole point of this forum...
