My 46 Gallon Tank That I Thought Was Big Isn't Squat:(

How about looking at zebra loach, yo yo loach or some of the other mid-sized loaches? Then you could have 5 or 6 of them and Angels.

Other than buying online and shipping them...(I wouldn't want to do that to any fish) I don't know where to find those. Your Petsmarts and Petcos here have your run of the mill stuff "tetras, clown loaches, plecos, barbs. A variety of fish but usually rarely more that one or at the very most two different kinds of that breed. Most of the specialized stores within close proximity to me have closed down because of the economy. I'm still looking for a store, but I have read store reviews online and they say even in the specialized stores sometimes there are nothing but kids working there that don't know what they're talking about. I guess if I find something I like in the mid-sized department I will just have to wing it. Do any of you buy fish online?

PERFECT!!!!!! I'm going to call and see if someone can get those in for me! :good:

Or how about a kuhli loach? Mine are great, although I have the solid black type. Very active, lots of fun to watch too when they're out and about. =)

Khuli's are quite small and could limit her other stocking too much, lovely little fish though.

We have two kuhli loaches. :good: My son picked them out and he loves them. I think they're a bit creepy but we both get to pick out stock so I had no choice. The first one we got is smaller and hides more often...but the one we bought a couple weeks ago is always out flyin around and eats like a pig with gills. I haven't found any stores with these spotted (marble) loaches. I like em and I'm getting frusterated but excited that we can settle on these and a couple of angelfish and hopefully it will work.

WHY THE BLAZES DON'T WE HAVE ONE OF THOSE LFS IN THE STATES. OUR AQUARIUM STORES HERE ARE TERRIBLE. THEY HAVE BETTER SELECTION AT PETSMART THAN THEY DO AT A SPECIALIZED SHOP. I had to ask 3 shops to special order in two striped kuhli loaches and some marbeled loaches! And not one knows how often they get them.

get them via mail order if you can , most fish shops are going to be shipping them in anyway.
